Celebrating Easter

We had a great time celebrating Easter this weekend with our family. We had gorgeous weather and spent the whole weekend outside letting the kids run off their energy! They had a blast discovering the goodies in their Easter baskets and doing the Easter egg hunt.

The kids dove right into their Easter baskets first so they could use their baskets for the Easter egg hunt.

Maia had the most fun with the scented pink bubbles that she got in her Easter basket.

After devouring the candy in their Easter baskets, they were off to hunt for Easter eggs in the hopes that they contained more candy. Here’s a tip for you- when hiding Easter Eggs in your backyard, be sure to count the number of eggs you hide. Otherwise, you will spend the next 3 months finding stray eggs in various obscure places. Ha!

Mase was very excited to see his Easter basket when he woke up from his nap.

He was not pleased to discover that he had none of the yummy good candy in his basket, however.

Then he found his monkey and all was right in the world once again.

All that hard work deserves a nap!

Playground Fun

We took advantage of the beautiful weather this weekend and took the kids to our neighborhood park. They had a blast and it was so nice to get out of the house for awhile.  Right now I feel like my whole life is a myriad of breastfeeding, diaper changing and not sleeping. Lather, rinse, repeat! Mase slept in his Baby Bjorn the whole time but I managed to get some good photos of the big kids. I swear they must have spent at least an hour going down the slide.

After the slide they spent another half an hour on the swings.

And then we all went home and took a nap. Ha!
