How Children’s FLONASE® Allergy Relief Helps Us Enjoy Football Season

FLONASE® compensated me in connection with statements made in this post.

For the last year we have made a dedicated effort to making sure our family spends as much time outside as possible. The kids come straight home from school and play outside with friends. We take family walks in the evenings. We spend a lot of time on our back deck either in the hot tub or in front of the fire pit. Our goal has been to reduce screen time and increase family time outdoors. And our whole family feels the positive effects of our efforts. Fall is rapidly approaching and in our family that means football season. We are a football family and proud of it. Two of our boys play football and that means lots of hours spent on the practice field and lots of hours spent on the sidelines watching games.

As much as we love being a football family, all of our kids struggle with seasonal allergies that can make being outside for extended periods of time uncomfortable. It can take the fun right out of football season when they’re dealing with symptoms such as runny nose, sneezing, nasal congestion, and itchy, watery eyes. We’ve worked really hard to create a family environment that includes spending as much time outside as possible and I definitely do not want seasonal allergies to get in the way of that. We take the typical allergy sufferers precautions including changing clothes and showering when coming inside, using HEPA filters in our air conditioner and vacuum cleaner, and wearing sunglasses when we’re outside. But frequently those precautions are just not enough and I reach for the FLONASE® Children’s Allergy Relief for kids ages 4+ because I know it’s available OTC, can provide allergy relief for my kids. Children’s FLONASE® Allergy Relief is a non-habit forming anti-inflammatory that works in your nose to help block the allergic reaction that makes you uncomfortable. While most over the counter allergy pills only act on histamine, Children’s FLONASE® Allergy Relief helps act on 6 inflammatory substances, not just one. *

*Mechanism vs. most OTC allergy pills. FLONASE® acts on multiple inflammatory substances (histamine, prostaglandins, cytokines, tryptases, chemokines and leukotrienes). The exact number and precise mechanism are unknown.
It’s the first and only OTC nasal spray indicated to relieve both nasal congestion and itchy, watery eyes and it outperforms the #1 Non-Drowsy allergy medicine. ** Children’s FLONASE® Allergy Relief is available wherever OTC allergy medicines are sold.

**Total nasal symptom relief vs. 10 mg single ingredient loratadine.
